Peter Mattson grew up in a Los Angeles suburb and now lives with his wife and children in the Coachella Valley. He has worked as a public high school Economics and Government teacher for the past 25 years. The Ranch: For the Betterment of Humanity is his debut novel, and he is currently at work on a follow-up book.
