The Bigger Bang started off good but after a while, it was a real slog. The illustrations were a bit messy and to be honest, quite confusing at times, which is really not a good thing for a graphic novel.

The basic concept was not that bad but the overall demonstration or the flow of the story lacked the spark to make it even an average read. I completed this book just for the sake of completing. I had a really difficult time completing this one. The colors of the artwork in the book were quite depressing and so was the undertone of the book.

With a superhero theme I was expecting a lot more action from this book but unfortunately, the main theme seemed to be depression, a superhero who is super depressed and apparently keeps on sulking about killing everyone as a result of his “super birth.”

To be honest, I would have enjoyed it atleast a tad more if Cosmos would have been a bit of a stud (given that the superheros are supposed to be stud! duh!!)

If you are planning to give this a chance then I’d recommend to keep the expectations a bit low.
