NaNoWriMo

Finally after giving it a lot of thought, I’ve decided to participate in NaNoWriMo, after all it’s about having fun and interacting with other authors, and yea… writing (a lot!)

This will be my first time participating in a writing competition, except for a few I took part in when I was in school. I’m really nervous as I’ve just started writing and that too I write around 300-500 words per day, so this is going to be huge. I’m gonna try and write atleast 1500 words per day (pssst…. like that’s easy) and I’m just gonna make sure that atleast by the end of November I have a solid plot and strong characters.

I’m sure that you guys might also be participating. My profile name is Heena Rathore P. and the link to my NaNoWriMo profile is here. I’d love to be your writing buddy… the more we are the better! Please leave your profile links or names in the comments section and I’ll be happy to add you 🙂

I’ll be posting my progress and few discussions here weekly or so. If you wanna join our buddy-read, drop in at RMFAO and just introduce yourself at the discussion board.

Awesome that you’re participating! This is my fourth year and only last year did I manage to reach 50,000 words. Last year I had a lot of time because I was taking a gap year, but now that I’m enrolled in univeristy it is going to be a lot harder. I probably won’t be able to hit the goal, but that’s not important as long as I have fun and at least put some of the ideas in my head on paper!

Hello Bregje. It’s great to know that you’re also participating (and to for the 4th time! Hats off 🙂 )
And I agree, as long as we are enjoying participating, nothing else matters. I’m also hoping to just get my plot in place through this amazing platform.
I’ll be sure to add you as a buddy. Can you give me your full profile name to look for.
Also thanks a lot for dropping by. I’m heading over to your blog 🙂

My name on nano is Svana! My stats are still looking a little poor because with the project I started with I pretty soon hit a wall so I started a different project and now it’s going a lot better again… Hope you’re doing well!

Good Luck! I did it last year (unofficially) and the month of hard-core writing set me up for editing this year, and hopefully for publishing soon! I don’t regret it, not one bit 🙂
