Memorable Paragraph

“ How could it be that he, Theodore Boone, knew the truth about the Duffy murder? Of all the people in Strattenburg, some seventy-five thousand, why him? The town’s biggest crime since something bad happened back in the 1950s, and he, Theo, was suddenly in the middle of it. ”

Final Thoughts

An easy read. Theodore, according to me, is an extremely adorable character. Will definitely recommend it to teenagers.

    I used to love John Grisham! I never missed any of his books but then he became very 'boring'! Have you read The Painted House? I did not like that! After that I never read John Grisham. Great review!

    My husband has worked at B. Dalton, Brentano’s, Waldenbooks, Borders, and Barnes & Noble for 37 years. He was (past tense purposeful) always bringing home pre-published books and proofs, many of them autographed by the authors. I think we might have a complete collection of Grisham in PP&P books, many of them autographed. Sadly, last Sunday was his last working in the book industry. He took a higher-paying job with CVS Pharmacy.

      Amazing! Atleast you have a few John Grisham’s signed books. I wish to get atleast 1 signed for myself from any author someday… lol 😉

        The problem, though, with signed pre-published books and proofs is that you can’t sell them. Used book stores won’t take them, libraries won’t take them, eBay won’t take them. So I have this huge library and don’t know what to do with it. I can’t bear to throw books away, so they sit here taking up space. When I have to downsize because of age, it’s going to be a sad, sad time.
