Review

After Copperhead #1 I dived head first in this one and now that I’ve read it, I’m glad that I did. It’s equally good as the first one and ends nicely. It was in continuation with the first one solving the mystery further (or complicating it first and then solving it.) I quite liked it’s ending as it was a subtle and a bit low key which obviously left our Sheriff agitated for the next part’s beginning.

Now that she’s pissed I’m sure there will be more action to look forward to. I loved the illustrations in this as well as the world building. It had some incidents that hinted subtly towards other potent threats to Sheriff Bronson which might sprout up in the future.

I’m eagerly waiting for the next parts to be available on NetGalley soon so that I can read them all ASAP! If you’re looking for a great graphic series then go ahead and get your hands on Copperhead. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

          1. The name of the comics app you were asking about yesterday is Comixology, if you are interested in reading Batman, Zatanna and other similar heroes, just type in DC Comics Comixology. They have old and up to date comics on there, very reasonably priced and a lot of really good free ones, including Batman and Wonder Woman, I have been using them for a number of years now. 🙂

                1. I’m currently moving house which is really making me rethink all my physical media. After packing up too many boxes, and lugging them up and down stairs, I’ve decided nice hardbacks, or stuff with sentimental or display value can stay,everything else can be replaced with digital copies…

                  1. I completely understand, I have curbed my buying of single comic issues down by 50% recently and buy them as collected editions instead. Seriously running out of space, it’s not just the comics but also all the other collectables like action figures and statues, no willpower unfortunately!!

    1. Thanks a lot Kim! Though these comics are not compatible with Kindle, they are mostly in .ascm format and are read through Adobe Editions.
      If you wanna try some then this one will be a fair choice. Also, there’s a graphic novel named Oddly Normal, I’m reading it these days… it’s brilliant. I guess it’ll be a 5 star read.
